On April 20, 2025, the Indian Federation of Working Journalists, New Delhi, approved the affiliation of the Maharashtra Union of Working Journalists. The Maharashtra Union of Working Journalists is registered under the Trade Union Act, 1926, with registration number A.L.C. कार्यासन-१७/११७83.
